Nominations are now open for Beyond Victims 2026 

​

Since 2020, the Centre for Gender and Politics has documented 198 stories across 8 countries & in 6 languages of  women in electoral politics across South Asia as leaders, not exceptions.​ This year, we’re opening nominations to our wider community. You can nominate women at any stage, currently elected, formerly in office, those who contested but did not win, or those doing meaningful political work without holding formal positions. We’re looking across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bhutan, and the Maldives.

 

She doesn’t have to be widely known. She just has to be doing work that deserves recognition.
